Måneskin bass player Victoria signs with noted. to launch her DJ solo project

noted. records, the electronic imprint of Sony Music Entertainment (SME) Germany, in collaboration with Sony Music Italy, has announced the signing of Victoria de Angelis, aka Victoria, the renowned bass player from the internationally acclaimed band Måneskin, and the release of her debut single ‘GET UP BITCH! Shake ya ass‘ featuring Brazilian superstar Anitta.

Victoria is known as the bass player of the Italian rock band Måneskin. The band, signed to Sony Music, has achieved global fame since its breakthrough in May 2021 and has been rebooting a new generation of rock listeners ever since. Yet, whilst on tour with Måneskin, Victoria’s exploration into the electronic arts gathered momentum, when she occasionally began DJing at afterparties of the band’s live concerts, which eventually led to her launching a solo DJ project. This soon culminated in her first DJ tour, which kicked off in March 2024, and to date, she has taken in gigs in New York, Chicago, Leeds, Manchester, Berlin, Barcelona, and in Ibiza. An album is already in the works, to be released this year via noted.

Victoria: “My new musical project comes from my love for a soundscape that blends elements of club culture with Baile Funk, electronic, Latin club, and techno. As a DJ and producer, I love breaking away from convention by pushing boundaries and experimenting with fresh sounds, a vibe that runs through both my sets and my first track. The sound I’m into is all about layers and crossovers. I’ve never really fit into predefined boxes, and this DJ journey is no different. For me, it’s all about exploring and merging different styles, bringing a raw, sweaty, and pulsating energy to the dance floor”.

With ‘GET UP BITCH! Shake ya ass’, Victoria is launching a collaboration with Anitta, who boasts over 8.3 billion YouTube views, four Latin American Music Awards, eight Latin Grammy Award nominations, eight MTV Europe Music Awards, and in 2022 made history as the first solo Latin artist to reach #1 on the global Spotify chart.

In partnership with Sony Music Italy, Victoria’s arrival on the label, signifies an exciting new artist for noted. records and the electronic scene at large. Headquartered in Berlin, noted. records is a globally focused label committed to cultivating underground electronic music and culture. The imprint announced its launch and first signee, the DJ Anfisa Letyago, only back in April.
