P!NK Celebrates Double Gold Certification and Radio Record
The American singer P!NK has been certified gold for both her single and album “Trustfall“. More than a year after its release (24.02.23), the number-one album is still charting in the German album Top 100 charts for now 47 weeks. The single ‘Trustfall‘ stayed in the German single charts for a total of 38 weeks, peaking at #17.
P!NK also set a radio record: With a total of 14 number-one hits in the airplay charts, she holds the record for the most top placements by a female artist in Germany. These hits cover the entirety of her career, including songs like ‘So What‘, ‘F**kin’ Perfect‘, ‘What About Us‘ and of course, ‘Trustfall‘.
P!NK is currently touring with her worldwide “Summer Carnival” Tour – organized by Peter Rieger Concert Agency – and performed in ten sold-out stadiums in front of a total of 460,000 fans in Germany. Her RCA & GOLD LEAGUE team surprised her on July 17th at her concert in Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena with the awards. Since the beginning of her career, P!NK has given 104 concerts in Germany and is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her first tour stop in Germany this year.
Since her debut in 2000, P!NK has released nine studio albums, one live album, and one greatest hits album, which have sold more than 60 million copies worldwide. 41 of her singles have reached the Top 100 of the GFK single charts in Germany, with 20 of them landing in the Top 10. She has been awarded three Grammys, an Emmy Award, two Brit Awards, seven MTV Video Music Awards, and two MTV Europe Awards. In addition to her musical career, P!NK is involved in various charities including No Kid Hungry, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Planned Parenthood, REVERB, Autism Speaks, the Human Rights Campaign, and she is an ambassador for UNICEF.
